Incontinence

If incontinence monitoring is desired then an optional incontinence sensor strip is placed above the mattress and is plugged into the Bed Sensor Pad (BSP).

When incontinence is detected the incontinence icon becomes active in the notification area of the patient's Individual Patient Card (IPC) and the IPC moves to the alarm area at the top of the Patient Status Page (PSP) and an alarm is generated.
